When was the last time you tried something you thought was ‘crazy’?
Well, we all have different feelings during these moments.. of fear,or maybe doubt.
Talking of trying crazy things..have you ever asked a random person to travel with you?
I have, and I do so pretty frequently.
Travelling is totally fun for me as a person, but more interesting with people close to me. The idea of having strangers accompany me, however, resulted from several disappointments, from close friends.
I understand that we will always have reasons that prevent us from travelling, but my wish would be that one day,I would own a private jet to have these experiences with friends… and strangers too. Yes, strangers… people that know less about me, and therefore are not in my personal business as much as they are in my personal space.
I like to think there is some sort of balance between these two instances: which is, travelling with people who know you, and people who don’t know you.
Here’s why…
- When travelling with strangers, there’s a higher tendency to have a more interesting trip. There’s a whole lot more to talk about!
- Going on a trip with a stranger is also another way to try something new.
So here are fun tips that come in handy for planning your next trip;
- Find someone you’ve known for a while, ideally the same sex, to avoid complications.
- Travel with someone who doesn’t know you well. It gives you so many things to talk about.
- Don’t place unrealistic expectations on trips.. It zaps out the fun. Travel with an open mind…see…feel…and be present in every moment of it.
